About
I’m Alice B. Giraud, a self-taught charcoal artist that enjoys creating conceptual portraits of women. I love working with charcoal because it creates raw and pure representations of my subject matter. “Wild” is the term I use to describe the freedom I experience when creating art. My artwork allows me to push boundaries and break rules while capturing my desired visual.
The message I try to instill in my art [to all women] is that “you are enough” just as you are, imperfections and all. My hope is to empower women in recognizing they are the crown of all creation.
